As the politicians pontificate and debate all around goes on, one thing is clear. The 20-21 season is no more and Swanley will have to wait a bit longer for its exciting entry into Kent 2.
As frustrating as it is there is no doubt that this is the right decision as we approach a second lockdown. Whilst we are not active on the pitch there is plenty goings on behind the scenes so we are good and ready to go when we do get the green light.
Fortunately we don't have huge overheads to meet and haven't suffered any large income losses so we remain financially viable.
We will continue to develop our relationship with Swanley Town Council regarding facility developments and do our best to support the local community in of course a socially distanced manner.
Our annual Christmas tree initiative, with local charity Home Start, to make sure local children will get at least one present will be launched shortly. Please look out for announcements.
