Lest we forget ...
As we have done each year since our 2017 establishment, a number of club members made their way over to Swanley War Memorial to honour those that made the ultimate sacrifice for their country in various conflicts throughout modern history.
Head Coach George Morris, himself an ex-serviceman was in attendance, along with representatives from the men's, women's and youth teams, laid a wreath to mark the occasion with a note saying "We remember those who have fought and fallen in all conflicts. Praying for peace for all our current servicemen and women - Swanley Rugby Club"
With a large number of ex-servicemen involved in the club, remembrance Sunday is a day we at Swanley Rugby Club hold very closely to our hearts.
